I bet if you google most "reality tv stars" or IMDB them you will find something (if you rememeber Stan Lee's who wants to be a superhero form a couple years back every contestant was an actor). That being said most actors have to have some other job since most of the time it doesn't pay the rent.

The first thing I think of when I see these scripted reality shows is? Thats some bad reality acting. I will admit that I'm still entertained though. I'm a sucker for bad acting LOL.

Not surprising. I have it on authority that "Call of the Wildman" star Turtleman rigs at least some of the situations they film. I can't go into specifics, but I do know of one instance where the show runners deposited the critters the he was called in to get rid off. They came with four...and only left with three. Maybe they should call him back, this time for real?

I refuse to watch this kinda stuff on tv.Gives people the false hope of lets see, maybe finding a Ferrari someone forgot they had and left behind.

Isn't this one of the shows that runs a quick disclaimer in the beginning that says everything you see is a re-enactment, but is supposedly based on "real finds/events"?

I think TruTV's awful over-the-top repo show does the same..

I still enjoy a few of these but for the most part, they are what they are. I had to stop watching operation repo. It got like that stupid lizard lick one. Now i hate the both of them. I do like repo games however.
