Yeah, I wouldn't call a lot of the ones mentioned "forgotten" by any means.

Getting a DVD release has certainly helped keep a lot of the more obscure 80s movies from fading totally into oblivion.

I personally think Dragonslayer, The Warriors, Time Bandits, and The Adventures of Baron Munchausen...are too well known to be considered forgotten 80s movies.

Funny you picked up on the ELO song since it's basically remembered today as the movie Philip Oakey (Human League) did the soundtrack for.

I like the Jeff Lynne song the best on the soundtrack. It's the song I always think of when I remember the movie.
