Coyotes were yipping outside last night...and they sounded pretty close. Had a devil of a time getting my young dog to come in the house. She was standing stoically outside like the sheep dog in the Looney Tunes shorts.

I love the coyotes, hearing them in the distance at night. Coyotes close to the house though need to be shot. If they are that comfotable getting that close to your scent, they have no man-fear and need to be gone.
