There is one near me. I took my kids for a fun meal, and it was just disgusting. The pizza was like cardboard and the salad bar was probably just different flavors of soylent green. The clientele could have been beamed over from the old Walmart a town over. I hope to never be desperate enough to go back. I am surprised it can survive, but I guess they wouldn't make this stuff if there wasn't a market. I picture all of their ingredients in packages like this:

CiCi's sucks and all it has going for it is price. It's okay if you have a ton of kids to feed--they're just glad they're getting pizza and don't sweat taste so much--but that's about it. When I go, I just stick to the pasta on the buffet. I will say the sticky bun dessert things they make rock socks, though. The best "regular" pizza in my town is from Casey's, which is darn good for a gas station.

I don't think there are any left in town here. I agree the pizza was sub-par, but what a lot of people didn't know was you could order carry out pizza. They had a bbq chicken pizza that was fantastic, but it rarely hit the buffet line. I ordered a large one with extra cheese and it cost like eight bucks. THrow some hot sauce on there and it's one of the better pizzas around. Their regular offerings on the buffet were pretty awful. THey don't have much of a profit margin so they can only hope to have mass consumer volume to stay afloat. Sounds like a bunch of them didn't meet the margin plan.
I almost had a psychic girlfriend but she dumped me before we met.

If anyone here believes in psychokinesis, please raise my hand.

Oakland has two of the best pizza joints in the Bay Area...Pizzaiolo and Zachary's Chicago Pizza...mmm...they are both HEAVENLY...too bad I can't eat them right now...

Pizzaiolo is a wood-fired pizza and pasta joint located in Oakland, California. All organic, all local with a menu that changes all of the time. We've built a beautiful place — a love letter to Northern California.

Arizmendi is officially referred to as a bakery...but surprisingly, they make pretty good tasting pizzas too...

Another favorite of mine, Blondie's (next to Cal Berkeley)...

San Francisco has tons of great pizzerias...too many to list...many rival East Coast places like New York, New Jersey, and Chicago.

Of the big chain pizza joints...I like Round Table and Cybelle's...

I also sometimes go to Papa Murphy's...it's a take n' bake pizza...pretty decent...

Order Papa Murphy's Take 'N' Bake pizza, sides & desserts online and find a store near you. Enjoy scratch-made dough, fresh veggies, and mozzarella today.

My favorite frozen pizza is DiGiorno...

Not crazy about either Pizza Hut or Domino's, although Domino's new Artisan pizzas are actually not bad...I dig their chicken wings too, lol.

...and coming in last place...Little Caesars...I only go there when I'm flat broke...$5 for a pie...hey...it's better than starving to death...

No CiCi's around here, we have the major chains. But in CT you can't throw a stick without hitting a individual Pizza Place 1 or 2 Famous ones in New Haven that i still haven't tried.
My favorite place closed years ago and i would drive 10 miles to it and go past or away from 8 others to get to the one i liked. Now a good one is only 2 miles away.

Any of you Cincinnati area guys try Dewey's Pizza? We've eaten at one in Newport, KY at the Levee twice now. I have to say it's the best pizza place I've eaten at in Kentucky. I know they have several around Cinci.

Dewey's is good, especially some of their different kind of pizzas.
