He makes mistakes, just like every other QB out there, and sometimes those mistakes cost a game, just like EVERY other QB out there. Last season's plummet was NOT because of Romo, it was most of the rest of the team that drug them into the cellar. Romo is a top 5 QB. With many other QB's, last nights game is a loss. Nuff said
The Cowboys Defense has been the problem. Finally the Cowboys got rid of Terrence Newman...got rid of the over the hill linebackers and secondary. I think the Cowboys will have as good a season as the TEAM will take them. That means the offensive line getting better....and those draft pics and free agent signings in the secondary stay together and prevent the fourth quarter collapses that have happened in the last couple of years. I hope that Garrett splits the carries better then he did in the 1st game. Murray is a really good running back...but you can't lean on him. He's NOT an every down back. They gotta get Jones involved. Also, get the backup TE Phillips more involved. He is almost as big and almost as skilled as Whitten. I'm not saying bench Whitten...I'm saying lessen the load on Whitten a little. Whitten shouldn't have even played last night. Just look at Phil Simms kid and see what a bruised Spleen can do to a career. Simms kid has no career...and he was poised to take over in Tampa as the QB. It should be a good year if they play as a complete team...offense and defense playing the way they should. Oh yeah...note to Jerry Jones: PLEASE SHUT UP. I couldn't stand owners like Davis in Oakland...and Jones is starting to become just like Davis. Let your team play.

I've said for years that The Problem with the Cowboys was Jerry Jones...., as is the problem was with the Raiders... Al Davis.

I think I argue the Awesomeness of Romo with Tom Every Season ..., atleast the last 3 for sure.

The CowBoy's needed a Win Last Night so Much More than The G-Men even needed. The G-Men Don't start Playing Football Till Dec, when they are 5-8 , get into the Play Offs on a 6th Seat Wildcard and Win the Whole Damn thing crushing Brady's little G-Spot. Or so ..., this is What Manning's G-Men do.

Statistically Romo is a solid quarterback. I don't think anyone can argue that point. He's better than alot of QB's in the game. But he's not one of the elite QB's because he can't knuckle down and finish games when they count. If the game is close and there are ramifications to losing (like a playoff spot or an actual playoff game) he dries up. He will throw interceptions right to the defenders. It's always the same too. You can see what he was TRYING to do, but you can also see that he wasn't reading the coverage. He develops tunnel vision and tries to "will" things to happen in big games. He needs to just execute and quit trying to be Brett Favre. I don't question his heart. Especially after he played with fractured ribs last year. The guy wants to win and tries to win. Perhaps he just wants it too much. Maybe that's his problem. He just seems to be so afraid of losing when it's close that he finds the ONE WAY to do it. It's like a self fulfilling prophecy. But my hope is with a solid running threat, some of that heat will be off him to try and be the "hero" in games. If he will just execute late in the game like he does early in the game, he would lose the reputation he has earned for choking. The Giants game was a good test. And he may do this repeatedly through the season and build up his clout. But you know and I know, no one will start weighing the good with the bad until we hit December and the season is coming to a close. That is where he wilts on the vine. If he can overcome those trends he will redeem himself. I go through this every year with him. I can't tell you how many times I've said to myself, "Okay. He's taken the next step." But I'm still waiting.

This is true...but doesn't one of the Miami players, or is it the owner, have a SUPER HOT wife?? I think she showed up in "Hard Knocks" this year.
