Eddie Van Halen has emergency surgery

Apparently he had diverticulitis, which is an infection in the intestines, usually in the colon. He will be in recovery from four to six months.

Brock Lesnar had the same thing as Eddie and I, advanced diverticulitis is no joke.

It all depends if it required the entire removal of the colon or not...mine was completely removed, and a good chunk of my intestines were removed as well.

It's very possible Eddie was given a temporary colostomy bag, his intestines/colon have to rest for a period of time.

Sorry to hear that Hec. Didn't you have to change what you could eat after that? Was it permanent or just temporary?
