I don't believe in modern fortune cookies anymore!! They don't have the same soothsaying magic the old ones did.

This last year I opened one that said 'something important you lost will be found within a month', which thrilled me because I had lost a very important piece to a very rare expensive figure (a nose, in fact), although I was scandalized I was going to have to wait a whole month.

In truth, I didn't find it until SIX months later!!!
