    Holy Stolen Mego Outfit Batman

OK, this is another 'Hulk Mad' thread, why?

For the first time I have had my stuff stolen in the mail. I have been searching every where for pieces to complete my RC Batman, I just bought a nylon outfit from a member here for a good price.

Some one actually had the audacity to open my parcel with a knife and take the outfit for themselves. Now what are the chances exactly, that one of the people who shipped the item needed a RC batman mego outfit? NONE! So why didn't they just put it back, maybe they thought there was money inside or some thing, fair enough, but when they saw it was a piece of cloth why didn't they just chuck it back in.

Man I wish karma did exist so whoever stole it would have some thing really bad happen to him/her. Too bad I can't find out which ****** took it.

What is that person going to do with a carded Keeper exactly? They probably don't even know what the hell it is, so why do they take it? Some people are real freak shows to go around stealing peoples toys, how do they know it's not a present for your 4 year old son or some thing? They may have just wrecked some ones birthday or x-mas, I wish swearing was allowed on here because I would be exploiting my right to use it.
you hear of it all the time but don't think it will happen to you.

I figure it was a kid who passed by and saw the box and took it,saw it was a toy and probably opened the Keeper to play with it or give it to his kid brother, some where right now there's probably a kid playing with my Keeper

          Dude....I seriously feel your pain!!!!

This reminds me of a story. I am sure no one will read this but I will post it anyway to vent...

Many, many years ago, I won a mego Aquaman figure off eBay, At the time I was living in a townhouse with my girlfriend and I waited, and waited for this figure to arrive.

I sent numerous emails to the seller and he claimed it was shipped.

A month later, I look outside and I see a bunch of kids playing at the park across from the townhouses and I spotted a little black kid (Not saying anything prejudice or saying anything against African Americans) was in the park with a bunch of action figures. What caught my eyes was the light yellowish orange and green colors on the figure.
Strolling over there casually because my alarms in my head where going off. I saw he had a very dirty Aquaman mego.

Trying to bite my tongue because what are the odds of this? I asked him where he got it. He said his daddy gave it to him awhile ago for his birthday last month. Ok. Now this was getting odd.

I called the cops and they came over and interviewed the lowlife father. We almost came to blows when he started getting hostile and throwing his arms up in the air like he was mad.

The police said there wasn't anything they could do. So, after that. I got a PO box and never had stuff shipped to that townhouse.
We no longer live in townhouses and I won't forget how angry and disgusted I was.

That Aquaman mego never did arrive, so I know his lowlife crackhead dad probably picked up the package off my porch thinking it was something valuable in it.
He probably had no idea what a mego was and figured they were some toys all over Toys R Us. That pretty much sealed his fate.

I got even with the guy, but I won't post that in here. I'd love to tell the story if you instant message me.

          Ok. Done venting....grrrrrrr

that sucks heaps, I would have put my ninja suit on a stole the damn figure back, dirty or not, it's the principals, you know for a fact that that it was yours. To be honest, I am waiting to see the kids in my hood playing with Megos or vintage star wars, I have thought a few times that they took my stuff because of delayed shipping, the kids in my hood are pretty bad as well.

Stuff goes missing all the time where I live in North London...There is hardley ever a regular postman always temps...the amount of dvds that have gone missing is numerous...that isn't so bad as Play.com have always resent at no charge. What really made my blood boil was 2 things...I send off for a bi weekly bond car mag for my eldest son which they send 2 of every month in 1 package...it's quite a large bax as it has 2 cars in display cases and one never arrived ...I enquired at the collection post office and they said it had waited for collection and had gone out again and should be in the next days post. I waited in for the postman and when the post arrived found only letters. I went out and caught the postman not only holding the box but also 3 other packages for me including 2 dvds and a psp part I had ordered...I watched him stuff the box and packages into a seperate bag he had while he was sorting through next doors post. I confronted him and asked for my parcels...he tried denying he was taking them by saying he had knocked on the door but there was no answer.P said if that was the case there should have been a collection card through the door ...I was lucky this time that he didn't get away with it..I reported him to the post office and the police but saw him not long afterwards in post office uniform walking a different beat.
I wish there was something we could do about it without ridding the world of these scum but if the companies don't care...what can we do....

                        thanks for the support Cat.
I think I am going to have to get every thing insured from now on, it really worries me that it happened to me now actually because I have literally hundreds of dollars of toys coming to me in the mail at the moment, I would be devastated if one of them got stolen because some of them are quite rare.
The post office said that they are going to check things like surveillance camera's to see if they can catch the worker that stole the outfit. IMO I think the suit is long gone, filing the complaint was more of a taking a stab at a ghost, it will do nothing but you have to try.

This is why my mailing address is my parents house. Being retired there is some one there to get the mail when it comes in. My sister uses them for her e-bay address as well.

My post man has a habit of using a rubber band to hang our packages off the mailbox. To me its advertising to the world this dude got a package in the mail. So far I''ve been lucky, plus most of my mego packages are shipped in boxes to big to be hung off the post box. They have to leave them on our porch.

Think B.A. Where did you hide the Megos?
