I thought you guys might appreciate this... I have a fancy survival radio with crank generator, solar, NOAA channels, TV, AM/FM, etc. I've had it for years mostly for storms. When the poop hits the fan, radio is your best friend. Anyway, Isaac pays a visit and so I get out my fancy radio. It turns out that a battery corroded in it and wrecked the thing. Its my fault for not checking beforehand, but I was being lazy I guess. Power goes out, no radio, I'm screwed. There was a brain cell that I had not killed yet and it contained the memory of my MIB 1978 Amico Hulk transistor radio, sitting on my shelf amongst my other Hulk goodness. I opened him up very skeptical that I was going to find satisfaction, yet after putting a fresh 9volt battery into his compartment, I instantly got AM gratification. The radio literally kept me company every evening as the storm battered the city and flooded folks out of house and home. The information Hulk afforded me was invaluable. When all was over, I placed him back into his comfy box (sans battery) and thanked him for his service.
