The King of Kong: Fistful of Quarters out on DVD

Did anyone see it at the theater? Reviews have been glowing, and it's supposed to be very entertaining. And for someone like me that spent a good deal of time in arcades and pizza shops in the first half of the 80s, it's basically required viewing..

I think it's pretty slanted towards making Steve Wiebe look good and Billy Mitchell look bad. Twin Galaxies has a section of their message board devoted to pointing out some of the inaccuracies.

Still, it's a great movie and I was glad to see it.

I wanted to see it when it was released, but it was never shown in theaters where I live. I wish I knew how many rolls of quarters I wasted back in the day also, arcades used to be everywhere but now I think they are almost a thing of the past.

A bunch of my friends saw it and loved it. It's definitely on my Netflix queue.
