Legendary Seattle area TV newsanchor Kathi Goertzen passed away yesterday at the age of 54 after battling brain tumors since 1998. She had been with Seattle ABC affilliate KOMO-TV from 1980 to 2005. She leaves behind her husband Rick, two daughters, her close friends & former colleaugues at KOMO, as well as many fans and friends. Kathi was also known for her charity work in the Puget Sound area. Rest in peace, Kathi. You deserve it.
