Discovery, History, and TLC were originally set up to be scientifically and historically accurate channels that even teachers/professors could use as classroom resources. Somewhere along the way things have changed and there becoming rubbish.
Its to bad, ive enjoyed some of the history channels documentaries a lot in the past. The Barbarian and History of Rome docs were high quality.

The need for ratings has brought in a management that is more huckster than scholarly.

I wish you guys were wrong about how off the path they've gotten, but you're dead on. It's a shame, really.

Don't be too disheartened. There is still a chance that there is more to this than we know.
I was kayaking in the pacific ocean yesterday and managed to snap this photo.
It looks real to me but I will let you decide.

This show is actually on tomorrow Sunday Sept. 2nd Animal Planet. Mermaid- Body found? --- some name like that. lol. Fake or not I will tune in and watch it. Heck the media is full of fake BS all he time and most of us buy into that. So actually- Ufos, ghosts, Demons, Bigfoot & mermaids ~ you just never know.

Personally I believe in UFOS & ghosts- what they are I have no clue! Only believe off of my personal experience's.

Entertaining enough.I thought it was better than the blair witch project.Neat little theory on aqua-human evolution.
