Love it, but remain pretty unpicky about from where or what I put in it.
I don't grind my own, I buy Nabob breakfast blend.Usually I use milk not cream and I'll put anything in it to sweeten it a touch (sugar, honey, maple syrup). I can drink it black if I have to.
I'd rather have a regular coffee than anything fancy from Starbucks, but their Gingerbread Latte is a secret guilty pleasure.

I'm with you for that one. Can't stand any hot drink: coffee, tea, hot chocolate, cider, sake (and in that case, sake being served hot is only done to hide the taste of low quality sake anyway). The only thing hot I can drink is chicken broth, which I guess is ok because my body and brain must think it's a food, not a beverage.Leave a comment:

Encourage him to buy the South Pacific blend. It sucks much less than Original.Leave a comment:

One pot... black... throughout the day... more of a habit than a need or want. Boss just switched from Folgers to Maxwell House and despite the promises of its decades old slogan, it is NOT good to the last drop.Leave a comment:

Rose Michaels: Let me make you some breakfast.
Charlie Mackenzie: Oh, gee, you know, I'd love to. But you know, I'm really running late, but thanks!
Rose Michaels: What would you say to silver-dollar pancakes, fresh-squeezed orange juice, bacon, and Kona coffee?
Charlie Mackenzie: Well, that sounds great!
[Cut to Rose pouring cereal in Charlie's bowl]
Rose Michaels: Sorry. I didn't have those other things.
Charlie Mackenzie: No, no, that's fine. That other stuff will probably kill you... whereas "Froot Loops" are light, and reasonably high in fiber. I care for "Apple Jacks" a great deal.Leave a comment:

I used to drink it fairly regularly when I was younger (20's), but now that I'm in my 40's, I only have it maybe once every other week, but a little more frequently during the winter. I prefer Dunkin Donuts regular blend, but I'll also go for Intelligentsia when I have the chance. The best I ever had was at a Sandals resort in Ocho Rios, Jamaica during our honeymoon. They had this Blue Mountain blend that was, bar none, the most delicious coffee I'd ever come across (but the Kona coffee I had a the Ritz Carlton in Maui was a marginally close second). We bought a couple pounds to take home and a couple months later lamented the fact that we didn't buy more since the guy at the hotel was selling it to us for so cheap (like $5 per pound).Leave a comment:

I can't survive without coffee. And I get mine from Hawaii. Kona coffee. Expensive, but freakin' worth every dime. When my bag gets half empty, I reorder. The thought of going without it is... unacceptable.Leave a comment:

Drink it most every day. Have a cheap coffee maker here at the shop and brew a pot nearly every morning. I add french vanilla creamer to it.
