Kobe has D! He knows when you back off when needed!

as much as you Lakers fans would love to believe that, do some research..LBJ's last shot percentage is better then Kobe's and Kobe actually has more game losing shots then anyone in NBA history

Kobe may have more but he doesn't buckle under the pressure. Thats a true champion

            Lebron's 1 championship compared to Kobe's 5 championships and Jordans 6.

Lebron is going to need to step it up on his percentage you stated if he is going to reach their level.

Give him time, 3 of Kobe's were freebies cause of Shaq...2 years in Miami two Finals appearances..he even took a team full of scrubs to the finals with the cavs, I'd love to see Kobe do that..Kobe's always had mad talent around him and the year he didn't he cried like a little ***** demanding a trade

That's it Rick's not gonna wanna be my buddy anymore after this thread

Naw, I enjoy giving Lebron fans crap! We will always still be buddies

As you stated Kobe won his championships because of Shaq which I don't doubt. Lebron never would have won that championship without Wade.

I admire Lebrons game! I just think the hype needs to calm down surrounding him because he has alot more to accomplish if he wants to be crowned King James.

they were all beat to crap by then Most of them did nothing 2 years after the 92 season , i just think talent gets better and better every 10 years, in 10 years i'm sure the USA team will be more talented then it is now, those guys were great and paved the way...but look at the competition they had, it was a joke

Actually D, yes, in some instances MJ could guard him. LeBron would kill him on a post up but clear out the side and on an ISO play I think MJ could guard him fairly well. (Pippen would have still done a better job as he was a great defender) MJ had very fast reflexes, did not get faked out that often, and could steal the ball like nobody's business (very quick hands). A huge part of what makes LeBron great is his size and strength for such a skilled player. Not that different then Magic who could also play and guard all 5 positions. MJ was a different breed. VERY athletically gifted but also a super hard competitor no matter if it was "just practice" or guys playing tiddly winks after a game. THAT is what I haven't seen in LeBron. He did make some huge strides this year and the result was a ring finally. Not knocking him at all as he is a dominating player but he is nothing like MJ. Kobe is the closest thing to MJ that I have seen but I still wouldn't compare the two. MJ is just a once in a lifetime player. I am just lucky to have been a Bulls fan (Chicago sports fan period) and got to see him play for all those years. He was an anomaly of a highly gifted athlete that worked as hard as the 12th man trying to make the roster. When he entered the NBA he was mainly just a scorer. A damn good one but he worked hard to become an all around great player.

i agree B. I was just saying because of his size, it would've been like what LBJ did to Durant...Just too much size and strength difference

No one on today's team could guard Jordan. Jordan was at his peak in 92....he would drop 60 on any of these guys...and Barkley hadn't even been named MVP yet. No chance in hell this team wins more than one game.

                              That's not a good comparison.

Durant is physically not that strong...he can't bench more than 185 pounds, not even once. Jordan while smaller...was a lot stronger than Durant. Ask anyone who played against Jordan...he was much stronger than he looked.

What Durant is...is a damn racehorse...super fast and quick, with incredible hops...and very long limbs...but just not strong...that's why LeBron manhandled him in the playoffs.

Jordan would've been much more effective defending LeBron than Durant.

Having said that...LeBron is physically stronger than Jordan...I grant you that...I'm not going to dispute that one bit.

But you seem to be focusing too much on Lebron scoring on Jordan. Jordan would've lit up his arse as well.

The tie-breaker...clutch play and mental toughness...Jordan is the KING...not King James.
