Over on TV.com,it's being reported that CBS has plans to redo The Brady Bunch. The idea is Bobby is grown up and divorced with kids of his own and gets re-married to a woman who's divorced with kids of her own.

Actually, it doesn't sound as bad as the Munsters. It sounds bad, but not AS bad. Of course both may be modern masterpieces in broadcasting history...but I doubt it.

Sadly, the family values part will be thrown away, and we'll be subjected to yet another "clueless adults/parents & smart-aleck kids" sitcom, same as EVERYTHING they show on the Disney Channel.Comment

the creativity of Americans has gone to hell... Reboots, spinoffs, remakes, etc are mostly garbage!

It has less to do with creativity and more to do with money. Companies are more willing to invest in known or at least familiar properties. The audience is dumb apparently. Notice how quickly a show that doesn't catch on in a few weeks gets chopped right away. Notice how every movie trailer gives away most of the plot of the movie. It's all about instant returns.Expectation is the death of discovery.Comment
