tom, i actually had the chance to meet all three this past february, and they still have that "magic" that made the show so special.

for me it was starsky and hutch, six million dollar man, magnum pi, adam west batman , wild wild west, battlestar galactica, buck rogers, wacky races cartoon, filmation superman, batman, aquaman.

For me I think it's Star Blazers. I had to watch it every morning before school on TBS. We had just gotten this new "cable" television and it opened a new world to me. I also remember fondly watching Project Bluebook. I can't recall any specifics, but always remember being fascinated by this. I was reading way ahead of my time and was going through UFO books and the Von Daniken Chariots of the Gods series. Good times.

I think of this almost every time I watch music videos. Didnt have MTV back then. I remember trying to be as quiet as I could and stay up as late as possible. The same thing with Night Traks on TBS on Sat nights.

I think of certain years, where I was, grad in school, when I watch certain shows to:
Batman '66 ( was on local channel at 4 pm on weekdays in '89 because of Batman film)
The Muppets ( use to show episode after episode on weekends in the mid eighties)
Masters of the Universe (couldnt pull me away from it in '84 on weekdays at 4:30)
Transformers (took my attention away from heman around '86)
Various Hanna-Barbara and Filmation cartoons (probably know when most of the ones in the late seventies/eighties came out)
Theres many more...

Happy Days, S&H, Baretta, Kojak, Adam 12 & Brady Bunch...... Also have been catching up on The Andy Griffith show on netflix, Don Knotts is still a scream!

Happy Days: Hands down, my all time favorite show. I even had the trading cars as a kid!
Three's Company: For the longest time my mom would not let me watch this show until she realized the comedy was why I liked it and didn;t really start getting the whole picture until I got older during the show's run.
Dukes Of Hazzard: Always takes me back. For the last few years every time I go on vacation I take my portable DVD player and watch a few episodes. It's getting towards the end as I'm up to the sixth season
Star Trek & Batman '66: While I wasn't even born when they originally aired they were on in HEAVY rotation in syndication. I had (and mostly trashed) several sets of Star Trek Megos.
Super Friends & Spider-Man & his Amazing Friends: While I watched plenty of cartoons these two defined Saturday mornings for me.

I have so many shows that take me back, but these are the true stand outs:

Spidey '67 introduced me to heroes, comics, drawing, and what ultimately led me to wanting to play with superhero figures in the 70's. So in some respects, if I didn't have this show, I may never have connected with Megos.



I LOVED Lost in Space as a kid. Still think the black and white episodes remain some of the best sci-fi stories ever on television. I have met many in the cast through the years, but the stand out was Bob May. He was the actor in the robot outfit. My wife and I had dinner with Bob and his wife. It was really a moment when I sat back and thought to myself, "I'm eating dinner with the Robinson Robot while my wife exchanges recipes with HIS wife. Crazy!"



The epitome of 70's television. And a simple question: Did you shed a tear when Jamie died? I sure did.

The Marvel Superheroes, Spidey 67, Speed Racer, and Batman were all after school staples for me and hit that nostalgia button. Lone Ranger getme thinking about Sunday mornings before church. WGN used to run it and the Cisco Kid.

Great topic. Some of the shows that really bring back the memories are gonna be Batman 66, Battlestar Galactica, Star Trek, Buck Rogers. I lived in El Paso TX. when I saw these shows. Great memories.
