yeah back when tv shows use to steal footage from movies for certain scenes. The Incredible Hulk always takes me back in time, I was 5 when it came out and it always gave me nightmares but I still watched it. A few months ago I had a dream that Lou was chasing me I was driving a car with David tied to the bumper dragging him and Lou pulled me out of the car and threw me into a lake, I dont think I have dreamed about the hulk since I was a kid, i woke up laughing thinking if I was a kid I probably would be sneaking into mom and dads room right now to crawl in bed with them. -
Watching Both the Adventures of Superman and Batman on WPIX in New York always brings me back to my childhood......I would watch them while playing with my megos.......
But my greatest memory was watching the 4:30 movie on ABC channel 7 for me and my sister time seemed to stop for 90 minutes....if I'm home at 4:30 i now will Pop in a movie and play this before seeing it......
As a fellow NY native I remember those days. And I totally still do that w/ the 4:30 movie theme and and a movie like POTA, Kung Fu, Food Of The Gods, Batman, and even that awful version of Wonder Woman w/ Cathy Lee Crosby.
But these days, my way back machine runs towards 70s Saturday mornings, after school cartoons like Spider-man Dastardly and Muttley, and the Banana Splits show, (when I'm home in the afternoon), and Friday nights w/ the Brady Bunch, Partridge Family, Nanny & The Professor, The Odd Couple and Love American Style. Of course I have a lot of other retro shows, but I'm tired of typing now.

I remember always needing to be home by 8 p.m. the year Battlestar Galactica was on TV. The new figures have been taking me there recently. Currently, I love watching the All in the Family run on Antenna TV. My mom would let me watch with her, but at the time I didn't catch a lot of the jokes. Now I watch and get the jokes, but remember watching some of those scenes and I quite vividly remember where and when I was back then.Leave a comment:

Old T.V. Shows that take you back ..
Was talking with some coworkers the other day about T.V. shows that take you back in time when you watch them. In other words you remember the time, place, who you were with, etc.
For me watching certain episodes of The Cosby show (first 2 seasons), Family Ties, Taxi, Happy Days etc take me back in time. Even if Ive seen them 100 times.
Anyone else go through this? Any stories you'd like to share?
