Your fav Dirty Harry movies

Was watch some Dirty Harry's on AMC and was considering which ones I like best ... I don't really know titles in all cases so I'll describe briefly ones I don't know.


Best to worst.

1. Tyne Daly as Harry's partner

2. Dirty Harry (first movie)

3. Sudden Impact - Sandra Locke

4. Robert Urich and Hutch is bad

5. The Deadpool

"The Enforcer" (the one with Tyne Daly) is my fave too. Although I remember really liking "Sudden Impact" as well.

The first three are all right up there, for me. However, I think the entire series of "Dirty Harry" movies is pretty darn good. In fact, I'm a big fan of most all of Clint's movies.

I really only like the first three movies, with the original Dirty Harry being my favorite. The Enforcer and Magnum Force are pretty much tied for second place.

Being Such a Fan of Action Flicks ... or The Whole "Guy who Likes Tough Movies" ..., or whatever nonsense that phrase is , it pains me to write this ... But I just never got into the Dirty Harry Flicks. I more so Go to The Eastwood Westerns for my Fill .

I love all of them. Clint Eastwood can't go wrong as dirty harry!

I like the first one and Magnum Force the best, but I like them all.

I like the first three best (Dirty Harry, Magnum Force and the Enforcer). The last two were pretty weak.
Dirty Harry, the first one, is fantastic. It has it all, great lines, hard action, Andy Robinson as Scorpio, well-directed by Don Siegel, and a terrific score by Lalo Schifrin. I love its humor, too.
Isn't it odd that Eastwood was depicted as a fascist dinosaur by all his critics, and now these same people embrace him and praise Dirty Harry as a sarcastic social satire?

I would love to see Eastwood as an old Harry, retired. And in a way, he has played it already in Gran Torino. Just switch a few names and occupations, and you have Harry making his last stand.

The original is a very good movie and I like Magnum Force quite a bit. Not too crazy about the others and I've never seen The Deadpool.
