11 and 1/2 hours during clean-up day at my school.

I've done 12 hour days quite a bit. In my theatre days I know I've done 16-18 hours.

Maybe 16 hours straight, but that almost never happens. Some of you guys are making me feel like a slacker for almost always just working eight hours a day.

Not that I got paid for this but last Thursday I started painting my living room and dining room. I had zero help and did it all myself. I started taping at 7 pm and painted straight through till 10:15 am. The following day I was back at it at 9 pm and finished at 11:45am and on Saturday I was there from noon till 6:00 in the morning. So in 3 days I logged over 47 hours of painting (29 gallons of paint if you're wondering) and got almost a total of 6 hours sleep in that time. At one point I was awake for 35 hours straight. On Sunday I slept for nearly 13 hours.

60 hours with two 4-hour sleep breaks- TWICE! Snow coverage in '93 and '96.

Every few months, I put in a 16-18 hour day, but that's not unusual in news. Expecting a long day today.

Probably not fair for me to play, but I used to work double shifts at the fire station every once in a while.... 48 hours. Does that count .?

I once pulled an 18 hour day when my 2nd Shift manager threw his back out. But after reading some of the other posts, I'm almost embarrassed to list mine.

1996, I had Thanksgiving and Christmas off. Was trying my hand at store ownership and partnered with a friend to do a satellite store to Reptilian Records in Baltimore, while working my 40+ hours regular job and a Friday night bar-backing to put a few bucks in my pocket. Spreading myself that thin didn't work, I was a miserable ******* to be around, more than usual too.
