Man I feel for you Toys2cool. It really sucks when someone you admire bares his rear like that. Well, it reminds me of an important lesson I learned when I met Adam West last year. He had been my childhood idol for so many years and the guy could not have been a bigger jerk if he trained for it. Not just to me, but everyone at this convention. Even being in my 40's it still hurt to see him acting so idiotic. I had to walk away and remember the reasons why I liked his character and hold on to those ideas. Any public personality, no matter how sincere they appear, must always be considered a total stranger when it comes to seeing them outside of the character we associate them with. It's the major pitfall to being a fan of any public figure, no matter the profession. You think you already know them and you assume they will act with the kind of nobility your respect commands. It seldom works out that way. Do yourself a favor and remain a fan of the character because you've invested alot and he shouldn't be allowed to take that away from you. As with me I still like the 60's Batman, but I care little for Adam West the ungrateful actor. Just ignore the person that exists underneath and don't do anything to praise that side of him. Chances are good he'll be learning from his mistake in short order.

Never liked him at all.I feel for you T2C.I remember when my Idol Lyle Alzado admitted to taking roids and then died from it.It was crushing.
But to hear this guy self destruct is crazy. We all have our inner beleifs and are entitled to them but this Idiot just has to let everybody know what he thinks.Who cares I refer to him as "The Ultimate Washup"
Did I mention I thought he was a.(a Tool)

Sorry I hit the guy so hard Toys.
Im just sometimes suprised at how little people care for each other or their familes feelings.
Heath seemed like a good guy and careing father.
Its sad to see him bashed so hard for it.
For if not his creative mind wanting to explore all sides of his craft.
We may have never possably seen , Im sure a fantastic portrayal of the king of crime,The Joker!
So I thank him for his creative willingness to explore his art and give his all to The Batman film.
Remember Heath brings dignity to the Film that others dont and wont becasue they think the Batman is nonsence.
I truely hope we dont start going after artists for exploring new roles and thinking out side the box.
Its truely sad to see such small minded people lash out at him.
In a time so trying for any parent to loose a child .Last edited by Captain_Mego; Jan 26, '08, 8:05 AM.Comment

^ I think he was referring not to Hawk and Animal (The Road Warriors/Legion of Doom) but to the Ultimate Warrior and mistakenly called him "The Road Warrior"...
My boss was the Road Warriors road mgr back in the day. We talked about the different wrestlers. When I brought up the Road Warrior, he said he was crazy back then and got worst from there. He really did believe his own hype. Also he gave the Road Warrior as a prime example of what the roids will do to your brain.Think OUTSIDE the Box! For the BEST in Repro & Custom Packaging!Comment

Jim Hellwig has been one of the Blade Runners (as Rock), the Dingo Warrior, and the Ultimate Warrior but I don't think he was ever referred to as Road Warrior...Hey I watched me some wrestling back in the day.
The Road Warriors mgr, my boss is Michael Schwab. I pretty nice guy. I studied under Michael as a freight broker and worked my way up to his excecutive assistant. He has a rather large outfit: http://www.myidealgroup.com
