Honestly, I tend to just gloss over the graphic sig lines - didn't even really notice yours! For whatever reason, I'm more likely to read text than to look at the pictures.

I made this one about a year ago (from scratch)... but I think it's way too intense for dial-up people

I love the Excorcist, it's one of my all-time favorite films, but the images do jar me a little when I'm reading through a page. I'm mostly thinking fun, entertainment-related thoughts when I come to post here at the MM (recent Heath Ledger threads aside), and then -- Yikes! It's Pazuzu and Regan MacNeil scowling at me! It's a bit unnerving, I have to admit. But maybe I'm being too sensitive.

To be honest, yeah they bother me.
And no, I won't turn off pics and such, cause then I can't see any pics or avatars anymore

I think I remember Paul (Hulk) mentioning that he keeps them turned off.
I don't turn them off, I just use AdBlock (a Firefox browser plugin) on the image the first time it loads and I never see it again (I use it at work as well, so I guess I see them twice). Obviously there are some people that find them amusing, and I notice them changing (or adding to them) frequently. Mainly I do this because it kills the flow of text and makes the forum annoying to read.

The good thing about AdBlock is that I can kill any image I want from ever appearing again, so at work I kill the forum headers, Amazon ads, signature images, etc, and I have a fairly tame looking experience. At home I keep the forum headers I like, and just kill the less interesting ones.

I turned the sigs off a long time ago (thanks to Commander Pat's 10 or 20 sigs), so I don't even see them.

Its getting to be much. Pick one and than rotate it with the others!

Funnilly enough I had thought about this a couple of days ago before you posted this thread.
They don't bother me as an adult but as a father I have reservations about two of them. My son(7) often hovers over my shoulder when I'm on the PC and he caught a glimpse of them the other day. I had to switch the page quickly.
It's a free world and i'm certainly not going to ask you to change them, i'm just giving you my thoughts.
