I'll always think of him as "Cabby" in "Escape from New York". RIP Ernest

RIP Earnest. The great thing about him is that he looked like he was enjoying himself up until the end.

                    RIP Ernest Borgnine.
He was great in The Wild Bunch, and Escape from New York, as well as lots of other great films, of course.

He was a great versatile actor who could play villains and good guys equally well. RIP Mr. Borgnine.

Dang..... Sorry to hear he's gone....

I was explaining to my kids that the guy that does Mermaid Man's voice passed away. I got my older kids hooked on watching the Black Hole too, so they know exactly who he is...

RIP. A great talent. I'll always be partial to McHale, Airwolf, and my daughter knows him as the voice of Mermaid-Man on Spongebob.
                            It's all good!
