NBA free ageny Ray Allen to Miami!!

How's your team doing? The Lakers picking up Nash was sweet! D-Will staying put really screwed up Dallas and Kidd picking NY was surprising..I'll be shocked if Linsanity goes to Houston

But Ray ray choosing Miami has to be one of the sweetest moves... The Celtic I respected and liked ..Ah woo hoo!! baby!!

Celtic fans are going to be mad! Not really surprised, I think he was having problems with Rondo.

As a Knicks fan, I was hoping for Nash and was really bum'd he got stolen by the Lakers. Hopefully Kidd still has some left in the tank.

Yeah it was no secret Allen and Rondo had issues. It does upset me he is leaving. But it's his choice. He gave Boston some great years. Who am i to say he can't go somewhere and try to win another championship. And dang does it make Miami that much better.
Now the Nash deal shocked the hell out of me. Being a Celtic fan, I despise the Lakers. Just shows how players can put differences aside. Nash has never been shy of his dislike of the Lakers. Now he is one. And what is up with Dallas, is there anyone they can sign?

I like the pick up for Nash the Lakers got. I'm a little concerned about the age between Nash and Kobe. One injury can sideline either one for the season.

I am a diehard Lakers fan so I'm always excited when the season kicks off.

Bynum and Gasol need to man up if we aren't going after Howard.

Celtics fans are fine with it. We've known for weeks he wasn't coming back. He was never going to beat out Avery Bradley for the starting position in Boston. The Jason Terry signing pretty much confirmed it. He didn't get along great with Rondo but they're complete opposites. We loved Allen here but he was never going to get better than a mid level exception and Miami could give him more $$ and a chance at a title. He had a hard time when he couldn't take his starting job back after he got injured last year. When Bradley was healthy he was just better than Ray was. If his knees can last a season he can still perform but if he gets sore again like he did this year, he simply can't shoot the 3. If you pull the ball away from him when he's cold he'll never come out of it. Check how many 1 for 8, 1 for 10 nights he had. Miami will never allow that to happen. They'll simply give the ball to someone else. Ray won't be able to accept that. When he gets cold he goes out and shoots 500 3 pointers in the gym. That doesn't rest his knees it makes them worse. He doesn't accept that the problem isn't in his hands but in his legs. He's tries to correct it the same way he always has and it just gets worse.

Losing Bradley cost the Celts a chance at a title last year more than losing Ray. The thing that confuses me the most is the Heat offense has never really centered on the 3 point style Ray is used to. They simply don't run the post play. They're a drive to the basket type team way more than a set up outside shooting team, and there's no way there's gonna be enough chances for that shot set up. They're players are good but not at that style of game. It seems like a pretty big change and I just don't see the big 3 in Miami wanting to share possessions with another major shooter. Battier, Chalmers, Haslem, and Allen besides Bosh, Wade, and LeBron. Who's gonna give up ball time? I like the Heat roster but they win in spite of Eric Spolstra. I just don't think he's a good head coach. I don't believe he's capable of coaching a team where he can keep everyone on that roster happy. It may be a lot more interesting in Miami next year than they want it to be.
It's not a doll it's an action figure.

They paid Allen half of what Boston offered.

Bradley's a good defender but his offense is no where near as good as Ray's.... most of his wear & tear came from running those screens to shoot them quick 3's...he won't have to run around as much anymore which is a good thing

Last year Miller,Chalmers and Shane missed shot after shot wide open, If Ray's open you better believe he's gonna get the shot

Before we got him I was iffy about them repeating, after getting him I feel like we'll do it

He's gonna be a beast, mark it down...
