Classic Batman & Robin Costumes for a High School Stage Play
What incredible costuming! And great to get all the "behind the scenes" insight into the process.
I only recently started reading about the "controversy" around Bob Kane. Very interesting stuff. I'm looking forward to seeing how you translate that into a stage production.
Warner Bros.! Put THIS MAN in charge of costume & set design when the Batman franchise reboots! Amazing work. Simply amazing work. Can someone get me a towel? I'm soaked in "Awe".
Man I would love to see this play. The plot idea is great. Like being there during the creation of Batman!!! Totally cool that you get to see the creaters at work and get a view in there heads of how the comic book premiss would playout. I would love to see you treatment in the same style of Spiderman's creation with a young Stan Lee. It's like being a fly on the wall with added bonuses!!!

If you're an MGM WOZ/WOZ book fan, (if you can track it down) you might find this interesting: The Dreamer of Oz: The L. Frank Baum Story
It was a TV movie, simillar in concept to how you encapsulated the Batman play/Stan Lee idea above.
"No. No no no no no no. You done got me talkin' politics. I didn't wanna'. Like I said y'all, I'm just happy to be alive. I think I'll scoot over here right by this winda', let this beautiful carriage rock me to sleep, and dream about how lucky I am." - Chris Mannix
Fantastic work and fantastic thread. Threads like this one shows the value of this forum. Most if not all of us would never know a project like this was being produced. And while I would dearly love to costumes so true to the source in a film, I doubt it will ever happen. So thank you so much for doing it in your play.
As much as I love the Batman suit, the Robin costume is just fantastic. Love the detail, down to the scales on the trunks.
