And depressing. It's funny cause it's true. But after watching that, check this out to totally cheer you up....

I am not really a Star Wars fan and definitely not a Gotye fan, BUT... this was very funny.

My nephew just showed me the original video for Gotye's song and wow did they do a great job of copying it and having the fake george in there was funny.
              Cute shuffling video too.

A prime example of Star Wars bashers taking too much time and effort to comment on something they're not forced to watch.

The parody I'D like to see would be George Lucas as William Shatner in that SNL Trek "Get a life" sketch.

Instead of Shatner addressing Star Trek nerds for being too into Trek, it'd be Lucas addressing Star Wars bashers/fans
(who obviously are fans enough to be hurt by his post-1983 actions) for being too concerned about his changes/additions.

Why not enjoy the original cuts, and allow Lucas to continue on doing what he chooses to do w/out having a hissyfit?

Ahh... the double edged sword of fandom.

When you love something so much and become invested in it emotionally, it's hard not to be hurt when things don't go the way you'd like.

                  Prime example: Mego fans.

We love these toys so much, that any slight... a head sculpt is not exact, or the boots are "wrong", is enough to get the cackles up.

It goes with the saying, you only hurt the ones you love... and the ones you love have the power to hurt you the most.

That was awesome, although that's the tubbiest Lucas I've ever seen.
