Julian Lennon at Radio City Music Hall. "Secret Value Of Daydreaming" Tour 1986. Stepped it up at the end of '86 to see Billy Joel at Nassau Coliseum on "The Bridge" tour. Still have all of my concert stubs for all the shows I've seen.

My folks took me to see The Jackson 5 and The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band (w/ a cameo by Bob Hope) at the State Fair when I was five. It was Aug. 22, 1972.

Later, when I started going to shows with friends, I think it was Quiet Riot and Eric Martin Band back in '84, if I'm not mistaken.

That's not sad. That's pathetic and funny

My babysitter took me to see Kiss and Fleetwood Mac (different shows, can't remember which was first) in either 1977 or 78 when I was around 9 or 10 at the Midsouth Coliseum in Memphis, TN. It was pretty cool to be "babysat" at concerts. I was a big Kiss fan at the time. They wore their Love Gun costumes. Didn't get to go to another show until Ozzy in like 1981 or 82. A bunch of guys on my junior high football team went together.

My first that.I chose, not one my parents took me to, was Springsteen's Born In the USA tour. I've paid to see him since, most recently this year. He's still amazing.

I was a bit of a late bloomer, my first concert was Motley Crue/Whitesnake in 1987. A friend invited me along to see KISS during their Dynasty tour in 1979, but for some dumb reason, my mom didn't let me go, otherwise that would have been my first rock concert.
