My first show was Ozzy Osbourne (Bark at the Moon tour) and Motley Crue (Shout at the Devil!!!!!) February 16, 1984 at Reunion Arena. What an AMAZING show!!! -
Julian Lennon at Radio City Music Hall. "Secret Value Of Daydreaming" Tour 1986. Stepped it up at the end of '86 to see Billy Joel at Nassau Coliseum on "The Bridge" tour. Still have all of my concert stubs for all the shows I've seen.Leave a comment:

Later, when I started going to shows with friends, I think it was Quiet Riot and Eric Martin Band back in '84, if I'm not mistaken.Leave a comment:

I was there with a church group and didn't even know there was going to be a concert, till we got there that day. but it was the guess who. first concert i paid to go to was in 82 on the cmsu campus and it was cheap trick, killer concert and I would pay to see them again.Leave a comment:

I cannot definitely remember which was the first (it might have been QueensRyche), but right this very moment, I am in my living room listening to my most recent. Sadly, Skid Row has sunk to the level of playing,...campgrounds. There is a small, local campground just across the river from us, and right now Skid Row is playing there as part of a local bike weekend. Sad, sad, sad.Leave a comment:

Sha Na Na around 1978 in Chattanooga, TN. No idea what the tickets cost but I would go again without a doubt.Leave a comment:

My babysitter took me to see Kiss and Fleetwood Mac (different shows, can't remember which was first) in either 1977 or 78 when I was around 9 or 10 at the Midsouth Coliseum in Memphis, TN. It was pretty cool to be "babysat" at concerts. I was a big Kiss fan at the time. They wore their Love Gun costumes. Didn't get to go to another show until Ozzy in like 1981 or 82. A bunch of guys on my junior high football team went together.Leave a comment:

My first that.I chose, not one my parents took me to, was Springsteen's Born In the USA tour. I've paid to see him since, most recently this year. He's still amazing.Leave a comment:

I was a bit of a late bloomer, my first concert was Motley Crue/Whitesnake in 1987. A friend invited me along to see KISS during their Dynasty tour in 1979, but for some dumb reason, my mom didn't let me go, otherwise that would have been my first rock concert.Leave a comment:
