Come on now, you are a fellow geek like me...he's the new Joker in the upcoming Dark Knight Batman flick....as a fellow follower of anything superhero...you should know that.

RIP Heath, a great talent gone to waste.

I first saw him in A Knights Tale.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

This is really upsetting. He really did impress me in the movies I'd seen him in (Patriot, 10 Things I Hate About You, Knight's Tale, and The Order). Another talented actor who leaves us too soon...

Wow! Stunned! Only 28...so tragic. They're now saying possible suicide.

What is it about actor's with a lot of intesity? They seem to rarely make it out of their twenties. Ledger is another.

I think, like the others here, he had a real chance of being an interesting, long-working leading man. Perhaps a Johnny Depp-type who would go back and forth between mainstream and indie leads, but none would ever be orthodox.

This casts a huge shadow over the Dark Knight. It will indeed be very odd to watch the movie now.

                  wow !!! This Is Huge.
I wonder if this will have any bering on Dark Knight...., like if Joke was suppost to come back for 3, or if they didn't kill him in the Movie. I am very sadend by this...., 28 is very young.., & too young to die. I keep think about Brandon Lee,.. if after his performance in the Crow, what would have been.

it's a shame but if it's drugs or suicide, I have no sympathy for him. He was on the cuff of being a A-lister and maybe the joker role would have thrown him over to it. Everyone will want to see the movie now bacuse of this. I figured it would be a terrible movie but now at least it will make some money too.

What do you mean he was on the cuff of being an A-lister, he was an A-lister. And to say the movie will only make money because of his death is a stupid statement, it is a Batman movie, it would have made money anyway.

Unfortunate for sure, sad to hear especially for his newborn child. He did have some good roles but by far was not one of the greatest of his generation.Patriot was by far I think his best role.
If it is drug related or suicide then I feel no sorrow for him.Thats just the way I feel regarding those two topics.
