I know Ring Dings and Ding Dongs are. Didn't Big Wheels have something else in them, like caramel or peanut butter?

'Cos I believe, I believe that I do,
Yes, I can see I believe that it's magic

It's confusing but basically they're the same...Hostess first used the name "Ding Dong" but changed the name in the east to "Big Wheel" to avoid confusion with "Ring Dings" from Drake's. I think at one point though the companies were merged and everything was marketed as Ding Dongs. But eventually they had the same problem when the Drake's line was spun-off from Hostess into its own company again, so Hostess created the "King Dons" name. Hostess bought back Drake's AGAIN and revived the Ding Dongs name.

They still sell Ring Dings here in my neck of the woods. It was always my favorite snack, especially slightly chilled. However, since I gave up sweets, they are on the no-no list. And are they bad for you. If I remember correctly, one pack had 58% of the RDA of saturated fat. Yowsers!
They're all the same around here, except for Big Wheels. The ones they sold around here were thinner, of a larger diameter and had a cookie base. (And likewise came in a number of different names.)
