The Aquabats Super Show! Any fans???

I DVRed this show on a whim a few weeks ago and after watching it, became hooked. It reminds me so much of the 70's live-action shows, including the obligatory cartoon every episode (the arbitrariness of which the Aquabats always do a great job of pointing out). I also love the tongue-in-cheek humor and the excellent costumed monsters. Heck of a lot of fun.

Any other fans out there? It's on the channel "The Hub," BTW, which also shows re-runs of the '66 Batman and other great shows.

It's pretty fun. Watch it with my daughter who didn't like the Aquabats when they performed on Yo Gabba Gabba. Now she loves them.

We like it. It's irreverent enough for my 10-year old, and just silly enough for my 4-year old. It does have that old-school vibe, much like Yo Gabba Gabba...but more toward super heroics. Kind of like a live action Filmation or Kroftt show meets the Monkees.

I wrote up a little blub about the Aquabats. Really surprised this show hasn't caught on more with the folks here. It seems right up the alley of most.

        The Aquabats! Super Show!

It's definitely something I think everyone at the Museum should give a spin.

I use to think Aquatroy was a member of the Aquabats.

Hey! This thread just caught fire! Well, kind of.

ODBGDB, I totally agree. Big 70's vibe to the show, in a respectful way...if that's possible.

CrimsonGhost, that is so cool! Everything thing I've read about these guys make me think they are good people. I'm glad that they are hitting the big time!

So if you haven't watched the show yet, check it out!
