Summer of 1982: 15 Classic Films Turn 30

Wow hard to believe these came out 30 years ago. Most hold up pretty well with a couple exceptions. Id have to say 1982 was easily one of my favorite years for movies. So how many of these did you see in the theater when it was released?

Man, those are all great movies!! I remember seeing Conan and Star Trek:The Wrath of Kahn in the theater. Now I feel old!!

I saw all the sci-fi and fantasy movies of that legendary year at the theatre... some at the drive-in, some at the regular cinema.

However, the non sci-fi stuff in that list, such as An Officer and a Gentleman, I never saw.

Movies off that list that I saw that year were:

1. Rocky 3
2. Poltergeist
3. E.T.
4. World According to Garp
5. Officer and a Gentleman (my ma took me, I probably ate popcorn and had a nap)

I would have been 7 years old.

I was 9 and really wanted to see Conan. Great movie year.
