Dallas on TBS: who's gonna watch?

I've been seeing the promo's and I gotta say the nostalgia bug in me is itching to watch this show. To see that snake like smile from J.R. on the screen again is kind of refreshing. What say you?

I hope Larry Hagman lives long enough so they can get a whole 1st season in the can. Tho honestly I think the time for this show's return has long since passed. They should have done this back around 1999-2001.

My mom's really looking forward to it. It'll be good to see her watching something apart from QVC and stuff on Bravo.

As long as they show the Cowboy star in the opening credits, that works for me...

I grew up on this show, but I'm not going to watch the new series. Too much drama for me.

I'll stick with sports and a beer.

I agree it would have been better to have revived it about 10 years earlier. I know they did some TV movies around that time.

It was a staple at our house. In hindsight, probably not real appropriate for a kid to watch, but no worse than the daytime soaps of the time!

I used to watch during the whole "Who Shot J.R.?" era. And I even had a nightshirt that said "I J.R." (that was mainly b/c my boyfriend at that time was John Roberts, who also loved this show), but honestly, I only watched b/c he did. So I guess probably not, unless I'm REALLY bored.

I watched it. Glad to see something besides CSI for a change and anything beats reality shows

I flipped it on and ended up watching both episodes...kinda want to see what's going to happen now. I no sooner said to my wife, "I wonder if anyone else from the original show is going to appear?" and up popped Charlene Tilton & Ray Kanaly!
I wasn't a huge fan of the original show, mostly watched it during the who Killed JR craze, but yeah, it was better than watching reruns of Storage Wars.
Larry Hagman still has the evil JR down pat!
