HBO is really crappy

True Blood

I was hooked on TB for the first 3 seasons, but man they really went off the rails last season.

For me, it's worth it for Spartacus, and Game of Thrones. I like the lack of commercial interruptions, and we got such a good deal on the cost it ends up being like 10 bucks a month.

When I did have HBO I was sucked in by the original series as well. Sopranos, Rome, Carnival, etc.. These are what made HBO worth it for me before I "saw the light". SOILENT GREEN IS MADE FROM PEOPLE!!!!

I got 6 months of HBO free when we set up auto pay. Did it just for Game of Thrones, and we've been enjoying Girls and Veep along the way, and in demand of their other stuff is great.

I don't care about the movie selection, I've already seen what I want to see by the time it hits HBO, although I managed to watch 20 minutes of Green Lantern the other day before I puked.

YES! That was definitely my favorite HBO original series.

Don't forget Deadwood and the Wire. Fantastic shows. I pretty much got cable just so I could get HBO. Love the OnDemand feature.
