Fear of a box office bomb w/ GI Joe?

I had heard good things about it, and was really stoked that they were going so far as to kill off characters to distance themselves from the horrible first movie. I'm bummed it's been bumped and is going to be funked with.
I wonder if the "original" cut of this movie will get leaked before next year? I mean they were weeks away from theatrical release. seems like some disgruntled employee might let it slide out there.

I haven't pilled the trigger cause I'm just not that interested, though now that they are reshooting a good portion I am intrigued.
