Leonardo DiCaprio as The Riddler

I always though Michael C Hall (Dexter) would be the perfect Ridder but DiCaprio is the best actor on the planet and what a way to top Ledger as the Joker... Rises looks great but now I'm thinking of the movie that could have been!

I could see him with the puzzles and brain teasers aspect... and see it working in a Nolan Batman movie. It wouldn't be the manic and silly Riddler of Jim Carey, but then again, I never cared for that take on the character.

Back in the day...Robin Williams would have been perfect for either the Joker or the Riddler. It's a shame you can't reverse time.

DiCaprio is good...but Daniel Day Lewis is on another league altogether...just compared their respective roles in Gangs of New York.

Having said that...yes...I could picture DiCaprio as the Riddler.

I agree with you, Hector, that we are currently suffering a bit of Depp overkill. There is ONE character, however, that I think he would be perfect for: Doctor Stephen Stange.

I see more of Riddler played by Paul Bettany.

One adaptation of the Riddler in the comic books was the 'Hipster Riddler' in the graphic novel by Brian Azzarello 'Joker'

If Paul Bettany did the Riddler in a Christopher Nolans Batman, it would be awesome!

I hope Depp goes on a long vacation. Great actor, but it's just too much. Pretty soon, he'll be playing The Terminator.
I would have loved to have seen The Riddler (my favorite), instead of Bane. Since Nolan won't do anymore Batman movies, I guess this will be our last "fix" in a while.
I would love to see Jeff Goldblume as The Riddler. Very underrated actor.
Heck, I would have preferred him as The Joker, especially with his body build and face.

Riddler could have been done in the dark nature Nolan brings to the Batman movies.
