    R.i.p. Richard Dawson

R.I.P. You probably know him better from HOGANS HEROES or FAMILY FEUD... but RICHARD DAWSON was simply one of my favorite all-time movie villains.

    "Killian" from THE RUNNING MAN

    Here's a clip: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xStvfbIddM0
"No. No no no no no no. You done got me talkin' politics. I didn't wanna'. Like I said y'all, I'm just happy to be alive. I think I'll scoot over here right by this winda', let this beautiful carriage rock me to sleep, and dream about how lucky I am." - Chris Mannix

And we lose another great one. Richard Dawson was good in pretty much everything he did. I LOVED his character in THE RUNNING MAN!! It was such a great sort of an off-the-cuff tribute to his years of hosting FAMILY FEUD. RIP, Mr. Dawson...
sigpic Oh then, what's this? Big flashy lighty thing, that's what brought me here! Big flashy lighty things have got me written all over them. Not actually. But give me time. And a crayon.

I agree Steve. As we watch these iconic names pass away, it's a reminder of our own mortality. I loved Richard Dawson. He was such a smoothie on the Feud and kissed every woman ever on the show. Now that's smooth.

So many memories of spending a week or two at my grandparents during those carefree summer days and my grandma was a huge fan of game shows. I watched a lot of Family Feud.

I really liked Richard Dawson on Hogan's Heroes. I used to stay up and watch two episodes back to back late night over the summer. I even drew up plans to tunnel out of my bed room closet and come out through a tree in the front yard!

Fortunately, I never started that project or my Dad would have seen to it I never lived to join the Mego Museum. RIP and I feel a Hogan's Heroes marathon coming on this summer.
