Your top fav Rock greatest hits albums

Doesn't have to be just LP's, could be newer released CD's etc.

    I'll start with

Beatles 1962-1966 --- 1967-1970 (red and blue albums)

    Rolling Stones Hot Rocks

    -Megadeth: Capitol Punishment
    -Devo: Greatest Hits
    -Jethro Tull: Original Masters
-Iron Maiden: Best of the Beast
-Nightwish: Over the Hills and Far Away

In no order - some of my favorite greatest hits and box sets:

This is the album that got me into the Kinks, so I have fond memories - but I would recommend getting "Lola Versus Powerman and the Moneygoround" as a starter for late 60s Kinks instead. Most of the stuff on here comes from "...Village Green Preservation Society" and "Arthur" and "Lola..." - and all three of those are fantastic.

The Legend of Johnny Cash Vol.1 and 2. Best for covering his whole career.

Still have a soft spot for Eagles: Their Greatest Hits 1973-1976, even though there were later compilations.

You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...
