I guess that since I am not a real artsy fan per say that I just do not get it when it comes to the amount of money that some "works of art" sell for.
When I first seen this it looked like something that a little kid would have drawn and colored with crayons.
Allow me to introduce you to Edvard Munch's art piece entitled "The Scream".

The Scream sold for a record $120 million at auction on May 2, 2012. The bidding started around $50 million and lasted for over 15 minutes when an unnamed bidder by phone gave the final offer of $119,922,500, including commission. The previous record for the most expensive work of art sold at auction had been held by Picasso's "Nude, green leaves and bust," which went for $106.5 million at Christie's two years ago.
