Signs you're getting old .......

i'm starting to like the same radio station my parents used to listen to.

I feel kind of old when I take instant notice when some younger blogger uses digital terms for analog stuff.

When someone was talking about a bad matte shot from an old movie where some of the image burns through the foreground elements (because of reflections, etc) they said some pixels are missing.

And when they are talking about how they transfered the filmed material of Star Trek TNG to video to make the final versions they refer to it as being "scanned"

It reminds me that default wise I think of film as long strips of celuloid and that a new generation thinks of it as space on a hard drive.

When I use the term younger guys to describe 40 and 50ish year old men.

When I notice really young kids (my definition of 18 - 20 year olds) crouched down in the driver seat of a Camaro with their caps on backwards looking like a punk kid behind the wheel of Mommy and Daddy's car.

When people that uses a device called a smart phone. All the time. Or at least it seems like it anyway. If the phone was really that smart the person would not have to tell it what to do all the time. haha!

When you see people no longer feel the need to pick up the phone and actually talk as they would rather push tiny little buttons with a stick/stylus to communicate with some one. A LOT!

When your eye sight is not as good as it once was. It surely sucks trying to paint and perfect those little eyes on an 8" action figure.

When after years of years of eating everything that you could without feeling guilty has finally caught up with you.

When I find myself using back in the day a lot.

When it use to be against school policy to bring a calculator to class. Now you will get in trouble IF you do not bring one to class.

When people say/think that they own something and yet they are still financing it and making payments. I just want to say to them you do not own it the bank does.

When I like to read threads like this and rambling on and complaining about little things actually starts to make me feel pretty good. LOL!!!

More gray hair than black hair. My hair is now 80% gray (90% on the sides)

I have heard that it is a sign of wisdom. Something I do not posses at this time apparently. I do not know if that is good or bad.

My close up vision has taken a nosedive over the last couple years. Bifocals, here I come! I can't even read my pill bottles....gah, "pill bottles"?? There's another sign!

Seriously, after posting some threads I second guess myself that I might have made a thread like that in the past.

many times when I talk to people they say - you told me that already ---- i'm guessing the ones that don't are probably just being nice.

I canot stand loud music anymore, not even regular music on the car...just TALK RADIO!!!! I used to hate talk radio.
