Seriously, after posting some threads I second guess myself that I might have made a thread like that in the past.

many times when I talk to people they say - you told me that already ---- i'm guessing the ones that don't are probably just being nice.

You are right, the ones that don't probably are being kind. Like yourself I get accused of telling the same story over and over and over again. At work I have to keep a daily log detailing everything I do because a short time later I will completely forget what I did to fix a similar situation previously.
