I was just thinking the other day that my listening to 70s and 80s music is the equivalent of someone in the 80's listening to 40s and 30s music.

I forgot who it was, but someone on the board once posted that if Happy Days was remade today, but with the same gap of 20 years, it would be a show about the 90s.

Oh, an I guess you know you are getting old when you start talking about how much time has passed since the 70s

I was talking to one of the other maintenance guys today about his scheduled shoulder surgery and gave him some pointers and asked which doctor was doing his work and where he was having it done. And I was enjoying the conversation...

The fact that most of the revamped toys on the shelves today are pretty much the same ones I remeber from 25 or 30 years ago!!!!!!!

I knew I'd have a receding hairline, but the baldspot int the crown of my head surprised me. Now my temples are going gray. That's kind of cool though. Fits my Earth 2 frame of mind.

I find myself listening to almost NO new music now. Just new stuff from established artist. Kind of close-minded of me, I know, but I just don't like much of this new stuff. I never thought I'd be like this. I guess no one thinks they'll turn into their parents!

I'm the only person in my new store that was even alive when Raider of the Lost Ark was in theaters. Ninety percent of my staff has not seen Star Wars. When I open a dialogue box to click on the year I was born, I have to click down many times before I get to 1973. It seems like 1973 should still be on page 1.

I'm 40 and was diagnosed with High Blood Pressure last month. Now I have to take a pill daily...I'm not enjoying it. But it is a good excuse for getting out of things with the wife "Sorry I can't do that I have HBP"

Along those lines, I could never figure out how my dad and grandfather could drink plain club soda, but now I've acquired a taste for it.
