Just picked up Jack White's first solo album, "Blunderbuss." Several tracks are awesome, some are growing on me, some aren't there yet.

Also picked up a Decca collection called the "Freakbeat Scene"- 60's mod/northern soul with a pinch of early psychadelia. Jury is still out, but some pretty cool songs do stand out.
    WANTED - Solid-Boxed WGSH's, C.8 or better.

That's a good one, but I should have been clearer in my question. It's lullabys of punk tunes, I think it must be the same "rockabye baby", I'm listening to some on youtube right now, pretty hilarious.
Their version of NIN's "Hurt" is still spooky though, maybe even more so.

I recently picked up an OG Lp of Big Star's "Third" and have had it on heavy rotation the last week or so. Top five album of all time for me. I've had the 80's press since the mid 80s but the record collector dork in me felt the need for a 1st press........

No clue on the Rockabye punk album. I only found this just by flipping through the new releases, never even heard of 'em before.

              Sweet!

I always thought "Holocaust" and "Thank you Friends" were real stand out tracks on "Big Star's Biggest" - but I only heard the album for the first time a couple of years ago. It's great.

I've been on a Tom Petty kick lately. I watched the Running Down a Dream documentary based on Lenzi's recommendation on the Geek Shall Inherit podcast and he's been on my shuffle pretty heavy as a result.

I've been way into Bob Schneider for a while now. He's a criminally underrated Austin artist who should be much more popular than he is.

I've been in a Kiss mood lately and I've also been listening to Christopher Lee's metal CD.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

I like a lot of movie soundtracks, (not "show-tunes"). Just got John Carter and will be looking to get The Avengers real soon.
