Being a lifelong resident of the Ohio Valley, I've definitely learned to hold a sneeze back, especially since the urge to sneeze can hit at the worst times. I remember being in the midst of a job interview and the urge to sneeze hit and, had I allowed that sneeze out, the poor guy interviewing me likely would've gotten a DNA sample (even though I always make sure to carry a hanky with me). Another reason I hold 'em back is because my sneezes tend to be a bit on the violent side and when I sneeze a lot, it can throw my back out. Still, when I wake up in the A.M., it's usually a 12 to 15 sneeze marathon before I even get upright, so it's not the most pleasant way to wake up....

sigpic Oh then, what's this? Big flashy lighty thing, that's what brought me here! Big flashy lighty things have got me written all over them. Not actually. But give me time. And a crayon. -
^^ I stifled a yawn...
I've never been able to stifle a sneeze. What I do, though, is exhale when I get the urge to inhale and the sneeze comes out like a gentle cough.
I get grossed out when people have those big ole sneezes...
Especially in the supermarket line up...90, Joe 90.... Great Shakes : Milk Chocolate -- Shaken, not Stirred.Comment
