    FOX 25th Anniversary

Hard to believe Fox has been around 25 years. I remember watching it around the time it first aired ( I was ****ed cause wresting was supposed to be on). Ive liked many shows they had over the years. The Simpsons, Married with Children, Family Guy etc.. Man how time fly's..

I remember getting a feed from rochester in the mid to late 80's. Thought it as great back in the day, they had movies on from 8pm-10pm monday through thursday.
Early shows I remember were : The Garry Shandling show, Tracy Ullman (where the Simpsons got their start), Herman's Head, Beans Baxter, Friday the 13th the series, Arsenio Hall

Wow, that was a long time ago. I remember being on a short trip somewhere with my parents and watching it for the first time. Werewolf the Series was one of the first shows as I recall.

I haven't watched the Simpsons in years, although I used to be slavishly devoted to it.

To tell the truth, I didn't think they would have lasted way back when...They only programmed a few nights a week, stopped at 10 pm, didn't have a late night newcast...
Who would have thought years later it would become my most watched network at one point (24, American Idol, House, Prison Break, Bones, etc.)

Totally forgot that. Right after the movie of the night, the channel went of the air. at least until they started doing Arsenio Hall, who if I recall correctly was 10-11pm? Also pretty sure they left swearing and nudity in the movies back in those days.

well they were originally WNEW 5 New York and later changed over to the fox 5 but keeping most of the same content. So in that sense yes they are way older.

Even Fox itself didn't think it would become what they are today. I love those classic shows. My favorite has always been the Sunday night shows. In living color was awesome, homey don't play that.

I really liked Parker Lewis, and did enjoy Sliders for the first few seasons too. Malcom in the Middle was also good, but more so in the beginning. That 70s Show is a favorite of mine, but the later seasons are pretty bad.
