    Golden Slumbers/Carry That Weight/The End

Went for a 1 1/2 hour walk today with the iPod. 10 minutes into the walk, the Holy Trio came on. I kept replaying them over and over 'till I got (back ) home. I could still see the look on Dave Grohl's face when he was belting out the final lyrics:
    "And in the end
    The love you take
Is equal to the love....you make"

right behind Sir Paul during this year's Grammy Awards. I got home with more energy than when I first left.

    Some songs truly contain magic.
You are transparent; I see many things... I see plans within plans.

I love the whole Abbey Road medley, but yeah, those three songs make quite an ending.

I like Ringo on this. Proof to the doubters on how awesome he is.

I generally don't listen to 'Abbey Road' much, seemed too polished -- I recall George Harrison didn't like the new mixing technology used (the 'new' solid state transistor mixing desk) and the overall sound it produced, but the 2nd Side suite is indeed a masterpiece.

Truely one of their best efforts by far. Agreed on Ringo's talent, it really shown through here.
