The return of Captain America

Good news! I'm hoping he can make it back in time for his date.

Looks like 2012 will be a hat trick as well, with Downey Jr reuniting with his Kiss Kiss Bang Bang director on Iron Man 3. Thor 2 still seems to be on track.... Albeit with an unproven mostly tv director who has Game of thrones under his belt.

The Wolverine looks like it's finally seeing the light of day. This is the storyline I've been most looking forward to. The whole Ronin and ninjas thing in Japan based on the Claremont/Miller mini. James Mangold would seem to be a better fit than Aranofsky... With 3:10 to Yuma and Copland on his CV. I'm willing to overlook Knight and Day, but for all I know, this is going to be Kate and Leopold 2.

I'm sure if Avengers s a hit, the sequel gets fast tracked for 2015. Hopefully with Whedon pre signed.

Although at this point would Downey need a huge payday to keep doing these? I guess there is always a potential War Machine franchise waiting in the wings with Cheadle attached. Spinoffs for Hawkeye, Black Wdow, Nick Fury are always possibilities, as is giving Hulk yet another kick at the can (greens got more lives than the Punisher cinematically)

YES! Cap is hands down my favorite Marvel movie, and also one of my favorite all-time films. I hope we see some flashbacks to some lost WWII adventures. That would be great.

Oh, and I hope we see more Red Skull and Bucky!!! And Haley Atwell!!!

I'm hoping for an Invaders story line. With the Original Human Torch on display at the World's Fair in the first film, they have already established that reality, plus the subsequent evolution which will be the Vision. I'm hoping we'll get some back story on that which will then feed into Avengers 2.

So you guys want to see more WW2 rather than a film set in present day?

I know the setup for the Winter Soldier is already there in the first film, but I'd kind of like to see the Falcon before they bring back Bucky. In an ideal world we'd get both within the next two films in the series.

I loves loves loves me some Haley Atwell, but if all we see of her is some old age make-up, and some soft focus scene where he dances with old-Peggy but imagines he's dancing with young peggy, I'm okay with that.

The trade off would be Amanda Righetti in a SHIELD jumpsuit.
