You have to watch the one where Robert Conrad, (The go ahead and knock the battery off my shoulder guy) complains about a judges ruling so bad that Gabe Kaplan (Mr. Kotter), agrees to a one on one race to settle the dispute and Kotter whips him. It was great. I loved Conrad in Wild West and Black Sheep Squadron but he was being a total cry baby and Mr. Kotter spanks him.

My wife remembered this last night while she was watching the Battle of the Network Stars that aired last night on ESPN Classic. So, we went to Youtube, as well, and both got a kick out of it. I love how Gabe Kaplan beats him in the "run-off"...so to speak.
Someone, on YouTube, commenting on Kaplan's winning that run-off race, said that it wa sa great day in Jewish history...lol I thought that was a pretty cute comment.
I'm not a super fan of either gentlemen, but he was great to see Gabe win considering Bob Conrad's reaction/behavior toward the entire situation. If fact, after Gabe Kaplan won the "run-off", Conrad was still sanctimonious and not completely willing to concede to win to ABC.
Conrad was just lucky he didn't cough up a lung with all of the cigarettes he smoked. Good times. I well remember watching for Cathy Lee Crosby, a young Heather Locklear, and the aforementioned Lynda Carter. Wasn't Heather Thomas on one as well?
