On the insistence of my 5 year old, I went to see Mirror, Mirror yesterday and I gotta say, it was not nearly as bad as I had thought it would be. The trailer really made this film look a lot more cheesy than it actually was and a lot of the screwball scenes in the preview were cut from the final version. Don't get me wrong, this is strictly a film for the 10 and under crowd but not a cring-worthy mess I thought I was going to see. I really wonder about who is cutting these previews together. It used to be the trailers would be the best part of the film but recently many of them have been made to make the movie worse than it is on several films I've seen.
A couple of things about this movie... the girl that plays Snow White is Phil Collins daughter!? The George Castanza line about who cares about eyebrows does not apply to this film because they are seriously distracting especially in the beginning. I also think that its written somewhere that if you're filming something that takes place in Medieval Times, its a prerequisite that Sean Bean must be cast in the production somehow, someway.
