    At 92, I'd say he had a pretty good run. I think all the actors from Forbidden Planet are now dead.....

                Actually I remember reading he was in Forbidden Planet Mike.

                He was a junkie background guy

                      According to IMDb, James Best was a Crewman (uncredited). Seems like he was in everything during that time.
