    Help with audio books

Okay, I've never had one of these...ever. I'm looking for something cool to listen to on the way to MegoMeet. Based on my level of comics geekery and a general liking of Dean Koontz type stuff, what are your recommendations? I'm not at all familiar with anyone narrating anything, but I'm intrigued by it. I always figured it would be annoying, but I guess if there is a good voice talent and some sound effects then maybe.

Otherwise my trip will consists of my usual Dream Theater marathon and other assorted prog rock/metal.
I almost had a psychic girlfriend but she dumped me before we met.

If anyone here believes in psychokinesis, please raise my hand.

One of the best audio books I have listened to is 'Kitchen Confidential' by Anthony Bourdain. He is the narrator..and he's really good.

All the Star Wars audio books have the acting/sound effects. I'd start with the Thrawn Trilogy.

I like Simon and Schuster's Star Trek Audio Books. I have Imzadi, Imzadi 2, The Kobayashi Maru and a couple more I can't think of.

Well, I wrote a long response & hit a wrong button, and it was deleted. So, to summarize, I'd say hit the library and see what jumps out. Try a few titles in case the first one doesn't do it for you. I've probably listened to 100 audio books over the last 5 years, and I've found the voice talent to be great. Every time.
